Tenho alguns amigos jornalistas no facebook por causa do trabalho na secretaria e eles já sabem que sou deficiente. Então, de vez em quando, eles me acionam para conseguir fontes para pautas inclusivas.
Na sexta passada, a Maria Maurente, da RBSTV, me chamou no face. Ela precisava de um cadeirante para falar das calçadas do centro de Porto Alegre. E por incrível que pareça, apesar de eu ter alguns amigos cadeirantes, não foi fácil conseguir. O Dilceu tá de férias. A Liza, no hospital. A Carlena não trabalha mais em Porto Alegre. Por sorte, a Vitória salvou a situação.
Mas o mais interessante foi o programa em si que foi ao ar ontem. Partindo do exemplo dessa reportagem (http://g1.globo.com/rs/rio-grande-do-sul/jornal-do-almoco/videos/t/edicoes/v/menina-cadeirante-tem-dificuldade-de-locomocao-em-porto-alegre/4038501/), eles fizeram outras matérias e, melhor ainda, um debate sobre acessibilidade.
Achei muito legal porque, dificilmente, um programa desse porte faz uma edição quase exclusiva com um assunto referente às pessoas com deficiência. Me senti lisonjeado. My readers, one of the things I like most to do in life is to help people with disabilities. That is, my audience. Even indirectly. For helping them, I am bound to help me.
I have some journalist friends on facebook because of work in the office and they know that I am poor. So from time to time, they trigger me to get sources for inclusive agendas.
Last Friday, Maria Maurente, the RBSTV, called me in the face. She needed a wheelchair to speak the sidewalks of downtown Porto Alegre.
